What human constructs have been the most difficult for you to dismantle?

Justin Breen (guest):

There’s so many.

Business comes from the Latin word business, which means anxiety.

Scale comes from a French Latin word meaning dull and dirty.

Religion comes from religio, which means to bind.

The most difficult one is family. That comes from the Latin word familia, which means a member of a household servant.

So family was created as a slave system for women and children for men.

And there are exceptions to that, obviously, but when you really look at most family dynamics, that’s kind of what it is.

Most of the world runs away from their own shadow.

Carl Jung talked about that.

People don’t want to really look into themselves.

And what you have in leadership is people running away from their own shadows and projecting that shadow negativity onto society.

I’d rather look into myself, heal my own heart, create things that help heal my own heart, and then hopefully help heal other people’s hearts.

That’s really the only way to do it.

How did you cultivate that discernment?

Justin Breen (guest):

Most of society doesn’t live like that.

Doctor David Hawkins’ Scale of Consciousness talks about how most people never even reach courage.

And courage comes from the Latin word cor, which means heart.

So below courage you have fear, grief, shame, apathy.

Most people are living there.

I’ve learned that logic only goes so far.

After that, the only logic is illogic and love.

We have a society building masks.

And mask comes from a word meaning fool.

So we have a society building masks instead of following heart and intuition.
