Why You Don't Need to Be “Fixed”

Uncategorized Oct 12, 2020

Have you ever looked for that next thing to “complete” you? Maybe it was another certification or degree? Or that ONE magic thing that you need that will CHANGE EVERYTHING?

Maybe it’s another course, or another coach or another THING- something outside of you that you THINK you need to “fix” you.

And I gotta tell ya... you’re looking in all the wrong spots.

There is no magic cure.

There is no fix.

There is no one coach, no one program, no one guru, no one book, no one tool, no one solution to “fix” you or your business.

You have everything you need inside of you right now.

True transformation, true change only comes from one place - YOU.

I spent nearly three decades of my life trying to be that “thing” for someone else - my dad. Maybe if I was skinny enough? Maybe if I was smart enough? Maybe if I got enough good grades? Then he’d change.

None of that worked.

One of the greatest mistakes I see with high achievers, is they look for that next “thing.”

Something they can “reach” FOR rather than dive into.

Something, always outside of themself. Some other course or webinar or book or freebie or religion or coach or mentor or mastermind - anyone, but God forbid it to be YOU.

How can you “fix” you if you’re not broken, after all?

It’s not YOU that is broken.

It’s the belief that you’re broken, to begin with, that’s broken.

For years I thought I was “damaged goods.” I believed I was broken, and this belief caused me to break myself apart for other people.

It took bulimia, abusive relationships, and a shitton of healing to see what I needed to see...

You can’t “fix” something that’s not broken.

I was never broken, to begin with.

Nor are you.

Beliefs are like clothes. You can change them if you don’t like your wardrobe.

I realized the belief that I was broken had gone out of style ages ago.

It’s not a fixing that needs to happen. It’s a feeling.

It’s an inner switch FLICKED turning you on to who you ARE, who you always have been, who you were born to be.

It’s a remembering of who you were BEFORE the programming and the conditioning that said you “should” be such and such way, or should look outside yourself for anything.

It’s tapping into what the FEELINGS are inside of you that you are repressing, suppressing, or trying to escape from.

Hiding in your work...

Or in that nightly extra large glass of wine...

Or in trying to please every human on the planet (except for, of course, yourself)...

You don’t need to “fix” yourself. You need to FEEL yourself.

And allow for ALL of it.

All the apathy.

All the grief.

All the fear.

All the wanting.

All the sadness.

All the rage.

All the shame.

All the guilt.

All the pride.

In order to get the message of what those feelings are trying to teach you about what is NO longer working for you.

Because they’re not...and yet, it’s so easy for us to hang onto them.

This creates a cycle of repetition, and actually emotional addiction to feeling certain things, and a habit of suppressing, repressing or escaping those feelings.

For most high achieving, yet, under-earning entrepreneurs, this looks like BUSY-ing yourself with ALL the things.

Doing things that are not in your Zone of Genius. Doing things the struggle way, the suffering way, as if there is a martyr medal for “how hard you work.”

(Uh...sorry, there’s not. I checked.)

It’s these beliefs that keep you stuck on the hamster wheel- going-going-going, burning yourself out, and at the same time feeling like you can never get off.

But, what if you did?

What if you took a moment to pause, step back, assess -

Is this REALLY what your Future Self is doing?

It’s not YOU that is broken. It’s not even the cage you’ve been living in that’s broken.

Quite frankly, that sucker is sturdy.

Barred and rebarred with coils and coils of conditioning.

It’s up to you to unlock the cage, set yourself FREE, and unleash your WHOLENESS into the world.

How?

Liberate yourself from the freaking hamster wheel.

Press pause.

Check-in.

Ask for guidance.

Check-in again.

THEN, take action.

And if you’re like, but, Kim, I don’t know HOW. Then, as your coach, I would tell you to...

Go ahead, try it now.

Ask yourself…

“What if you did know?”

Check-in.

Ask for guidance.

THEN, take action.

Progress doesn’t happen on a hamster wheel. It happens outside of the cage.

If you’ve been burning out on that treadmill you’ve been running on - chasing that cheddar, yet stuck in a cage, then that alone is reason to get your booty up into my new masterclass - “How to Shift from 5-Figures to 6-Figures without the Burnout” on Wednesday, October 14 @6:30 PM PST.

I’ll be diving deep into the 13 mindset shifts I’ve seen 5-figure earners make (including myself) to catapult them to 6-figures and beyond.

It doesn’t have to be “hard.” In fact the step I’m going to show you will actually require you to spend LESS time doing a lot of what you’ve been doing.

But it does require you to set aside 2-hours to get off the wheel and learn some new strategies to scale.

Remember, your reign is now.

P.S. Space is limited so make sure you grab a spot. Even if you can’t make the LIVE, you will get the replay for the next week...but ONLY if you’re registered.
